The roadmap from December to March

One month to prepare, three to put it into practice. Each step builds on the one before.

  1. December 2026

Take stock and clear the decks

    • For one week, note which tasks keep coming back. Then sort them in an hour.
    • Pick two or three tasks and block one fixed hour a week for them in your January calendar.
    • Check tool deadlines. If you use Gemini Gems, save the files that won't carry over before December 17: Gemini Gems are becoming skills. Rebuild custom GPTs as a project before December 11.
  2. January 2027

    The first routine

    • Start with a task where you'll know within a week whether it works. Decide up front what will tell you.
    • Write a short briefing: who you are, who you work for, how it should sound. Here's how: Create your own AI assistant.
    • For two weeks, use it every time the task comes up, and note what you have to fix.
  3. February 2027

    The second routine

    • Sharpen the first routine and write it down: briefing, steps, and what you check before anything goes to a client.
    • Take on the second task. If it runs the same way every time, an automation without AI is often enough, for example with n8n.
  4. March 2027

    Review

    • Check for the sign you picked to tell you it's working. For example: you only review the follow-up email instead of writing it yourself.
    • What works stays. What doesn't, you rebuild or drop.
    • Decide whether a third task comes next.

Key dates around the new year

  • November 17, 2026: Gemini Gems on personal Google accounts (18+) become read-only and are removed on December 17, 2026. Google turns them into skills automatically, but not every file carries over.
  • December 11, 2026: OpenAI retires custom GPTs, and on February 11, 2027 for certain workspaces. How to rebuild them as a project: Create your own AI assistant.
  • December 31, 2026: The promotional price for the Copilot Business add-on ends, according to Microsoft. What each plan includes: Copilot in Microsoft 365.

More dates for your AI tools, with sources, are in the guide What changes in your AI tools in 2027.

If you don't want to do it alone

Then we build the routines together, 1:1 on your real tasks, in the AI Workflow Sprint. Sessions are mostly remote, in person in Berlin on request. The first sessions start on January 11, 2027. You can book and pay in December, and payment secures your spot.

After we worked together, Mike Palmes, a brand strategist in Berlin, built his own workflows that take recurring data and content work off his plate. In his Google review, he writes:

“[Lukas] is always up to date, knows the latest tools and developments, and always had a quick answer, even to urgent questions. […] Highly recommended!”

Frequently asked questions

The earlier, the better. If you get in touch in November or December, the plan is set before the holidays, and the first sessions start on January 11, 2027. The first step is a free intro call you book directly in my calendar. That way you secure an early spot for the start of the year.

Yes. You can book and pay in December, and payment secures your spot. Sessions then start on January 11, 2027. The start of the year is especially busy, so it's best to get in touch early.

Then you start in the spring. The roadmap works from any month, and the AI Workflow Sprint isn't tied to the start of the year. If you already know when it suits you, reach out early anyway. Then we plan the start together, and your date is set.
